Painted Dwarf Army For Sale

After looking through my stuff the other day I noticed an army I had won in a raffle that was so covered in dust that when I touched it my finger turned grey. Now to me this means that I will never use it and I don't want it, it's just taking up space. So I decided to sell it, so here it is. I'm putting it up here before I list it on eBay so if you're interested email me at w.hpaintingstudios@gmail.com I'm asking for only $40 and a $20 postage and handling to anywhere in the world, pick up is also an option if you live close by.

This army was fully painted when I won it [still is] so it was not painted by me but if you're looking for a comparison it's about the equivalent of "Quick and Dirty." It includes the following:
  • Dwarf Lord
  • Dwarf Daemon Slayer
  • 12 Dwarf Warriors, full command
  • 10 Dwarf Thunders, full command
  • 8 Dwarf Miners, full command
  • 1 cannon and three crew.
This army has seen use in the past on the gaming table so it is not in mint condition as a two axeheads have been re-glued but otherwise everything is in very good condition. Here are the pictures.

Finished Razorback

Got heaps of hobby time today, basically all day so I got a lot done. Finished the Razorback like I hoped and got another four guardians done so I only have the heavy weapons platform and an operator to do, which are already built and undercoated.

Doing all the gems on the squad leader was a paint, so many skull white dots, still not that much considering I just painted a whole tank white. So a bit over white at the moment but at least I know I got a lot better at it. Anyway very happy with how the tank turned out considering it was my first.

W.I.P. Razorback

For the last couple of days I've been working on a white scars razorback for a commission, so I thought I'd post a few photos.

This side is the most complete but there is still a lot of work to do, namely more layers of white, the door and the tracks.

All the red is just about done now, I find I can paint it pretty quickly now after all the practise painting guardians.

The interior is currently the only completely painted part of the tank, shame you cant really see it when the tank is completed.

Progress!

Just from back from holidays so haven't been able to get much done with commissions and lack of time but I have been able to finish three guardians [excluding the bases.] in my spare time. I painted them mostly with Vallejo game colour with results that I'm really happy with. I'm especially happy with them with the rumours of a change in citadel paints. Over all they were less than half the price including shipping of citadel paints and have a better bottle design and more paint. The only disadvantages would be the inconvenience but that was minor I only had to wait ten days and I'm in Australia so that's pretty good and that they seem to be a bit softer so they scratch easily, which isn't a problem with a quick spray of varnish.. Any way I thoroughly recommend them and here is a picture of the results.

As a side note I've also posted a imperial guardsmen tutorial on the tutorial page.

What I've been working on

Happy New Year!

With that out of the way here's what I've been working on a couple of imperial guardsmen, the other one refused to be photographed :c. For me this is another change of paint scheme for them the 4th time, I guess this is what happens when your waiting for new paints and only a single squad of guardsmen it means it's easy to apply a complete colour scheme change. Hope to post a tutorial on how to paint them soon.

And here is my two war walkers which I'm about to start painting, I've kept the bodies separate from the legs to help with painting.
